Background of Fela

Fela Anklápó Kuti, also known as Abami Eda, was a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer, political activist, and Pan-Africanist. He is widely considered the father of Afrobeat, an African music genre that fuses traditional Yoruba with funk and jazz.
He was born on 15th October 1938 and died on 2nd August 1997 (58years).
